Dr. Michael Luby to participate in TIP (Telecom Infra Project) Summit 2019  in Amsterdam

Dr. Michael Luby will be participating in a panel discussion of experts at the TIP Summit'19 in Amsterdam. TIP working groups represent a unique opportunity to inspire relevant early-stage academic research that feed into real world use cases. Dr. Luby will be engaging in collaborative ideation and specifically talking about his team's recent efforts in wireless mesh modeling and optimization.

Dr. Michael Luby participates in ATSC 3.0 symposium for auto industry in Detroit

Dr. Michael Luby participated in a symposium for the auto industry in Detroit to show the benefits of ATSC 3.0 for motorists. He presented a tutorial on RaptorQ and its application within the ATSC 3.0 broadcast standard. The complete presentation can be found here.

CodornicesRq software package release 2 is now available

The second release of the CodornicesRq software package is now available, which is a fully-compliant high-speed implementation of the RaptorQ erasure code specified in IETF RFC 6330. The performance of the second release is an improvement of between a factor of 2 and 3.5 over the performance of the first release. RaptorQ streaming demo using CodornicesRq now available

We are happy to announce the availability of a pretty cool demo - showing that flawless high quality video streaming can be provided using RaptorQ even in very tough network conditions.  It is a visceral demo, i.e., the benefits are visibly obvious and immediate.  Click here to see a short video that we made that shows off the demo.

ARM platform performance results for CodornicesRq software package, which is a fully-compliant high-speed implementation of the RaptorQ erasure code specified in IETF RFC 6330, are now available.   (The ARM platform performance results augment the previously posted x86-64 performance results.).
